With the aim of assisting young people in the challenging process of choosing their educational and professional paths, the Municipality of Guimarães is about to hold its first Job and Qualifications Fair. Choosing the right path for the rest of one’s life is one of the most complex dilemmas young people face, especially in a context of constant change and rapid societal development. With this initiative, the municipality aims to provide young people with a comprehensive view of the available options, thereby facilitating their decision-making process.
The Job and Qualifications Fair, aimed at students from the 9th grade onwards, seeks to fulfill a dual purpose. On one hand, it aims to assist undecided students in making informed choices about their future paths. On the other hand, it aims to promote direct contact with companies and institutions, providing a clear understanding of the job market and its demands.
