Set.Up IN(dustry), the acceleration program that supports the development of innovative ideas and their connection to Guimarães’ industry, has kicked off its third edition. Promoted by the Municipality of Guimarães, the initiative continues to challenge entrepreneurs to transform creative, technological, or knowledge-intensive projects into successful businesses with direct impact on the territory.

The selected startups will have access to business idea bootcamps, meetings with industry leaders, investors, and mentors, personalized coaching sessions, and the opportunity to showcase their projects on the Demo Day stage, in front of strategic partners. In addition, they may also benefit from industrial incubation and specialized mentoring in leading companies.

So far, the program has already supported 54 startups, delivered more than 300 hours of mentoring and consultancy, 120 hours of training and workshops, and facilitated over 60 meetings between startups, industry, and R&D centers — consolidating its role as a driver of innovation and industrial entrepreneurship in Guimarães.

  • Applications: September 8–30, 2025

  • Selection and results announcement: October 1–3, 2025
