Set.Up IN(dustry), the acceleration program that supports the development of innovative ideas and their connection to Guimarães’ industry, is now in its third edition. Promoted by the Municipality of Guimarães, the initiative continues to challenge entrepreneurs to transform creative, technological, or knowledge-intensive projects into successful businesses with direct impact on the region.
Selected startups have access to:
- Bootcamps for business idea acceleration and skills development
- Meetings with industry, investors, and mentors
- Individualized coaching sessions
- The opportunity to present their projects on the Demo Day stage to strategic partners
- Industrial incubation and specialized mentoring from leading companies
To date, the program has supported 54 startups, delivered over 300 hours of mentoring and consultancy, 120 hours of training and workshops, and facilitated more than 60 meetings between startups, industry, and R&D centers, establishing itself as a key engine of industrial innovation and entrepreneurship in Guimarães.
