Sílvia Vieira is a Portuguese Patent and Trademark Attorney, and European Trademark and Design Attorney.

With an academic background, she holds a PhD in Tissue Engineering, Regenerative Medicine and Stem Cells from the University of Minho. She had the opportunity to work in different research groups not only in Portugal, but also in the UK and the USA, giving her a diverse perspective and know-how in the biotechnology and biomaterials field. During her PhD studies, Sílvia developed a great interest and skills on IP assets, mostly on the strategies available to protect and translate research into the market.

She is currently an Intellectual Property Consultant at Patentree, a Portuguese company distinguished by its commitment to quality and strong Intellectual Property strategies.
