Set.Up Guimarães once again attended another edition of TSI2Market, an event promoted by AIS.SC UMinho at the Azurém campus of the University of Minho. This event lasts for three days and aims to connect students with the job market by offering training sessions, workshops, challenges, thematic sessions, and networking opportunities. It has the privilege of featuring top companies in the Information Technology sector.
The TSI@UMinho universe comprises over 1,000 students, including undergraduate, master’s, integrated master’s, and doctoral students. However, the event is open to all students! The event brought sessions like Round Tables, Workshops, and other activities to the University of Minho’s Azurém campus. On April 17th, the day Set.Up Guimarães showcased its services, was dedicated to the Job Fair. This was an incredible opportunity to introduce what Set.Up Guimarães does and, thereby, plant the seed of entrepreneurship among young people preparing to enter the job market. Rui Pinheiro, from our incubator, also had the chance to conduct a workshop on the “Elevator Pitch” concept, explaining what it is and how to prepare the best presentation of our idea, project, or ourselves, using a series of techniques that ensure greater success when we want to make a good impression on someone. Participating in these types of events is part of Set.Up Guimarães’ strategy, as it strengthens the connection of our incubator with educational institutions, associations, and young people in general, showcasing the services of the incubator and fostering entrepreneurship as a way to create new businesses.
