Yesterday took place at the headquarters of Tecpark, Set.Up Guimarães’ technology-based incubator, a round table dedicated to the theme ”What do investors look for in a startup?’

The roundtable had the participation of Lurdes Gramaxo, partner of Bynd Venture Capital, Ricardo Costa, Founder and CEO of startup LOQR and Nuuno Costa Reis, senior associate of CCA Law Firm.

During the session, several topics related to a startup’s investment journey were addressed, highlighting what startups need to have access to Venture Capital, what questions do VC to startups looking for investment rounds, the different types of investment and the main legal aspects to take into account when a startup is negotiating with a VC (entry, relationship, and exit conditions, …).

The audience included the participants of the Set.Up IN(dustry) acceleration program, the community of companies incubated at Set.Up Guimarães and the participants of the Run For Ideas initiative, developed by the Academic Association of the University of Minho through STARTPOINT , which allows students to travel through the different incubation spaces spread across the northern region of the country, thus promoting a more direct contact with entrepreneurship hubs.

Many thanks to the guests and all the participants.
