Portugal Ventures, the Venture Capital Company of Banco Português de Fomento Group, in partnership with ANI – National Innovation Agency, and in collaboration with Startup Portugal, launched the 4th Edition of the INNOV-ID Call on October 13th, with the application submission period ending on November 22nd. This latest edition received 85 applications from Portugal Ventures’ Ignition Partner Network. Over the four editions of the INNOV-ID Call, Portugal Ventures received a total of 398 applications through its Ignition Partner Network. Established in 2012, this network currently comprises 127 entities covering the entire country, including islands, and is spread across incubators/accelerators, universities, technology hubs, associations, and municipal chambers.
This is an essential and catalyzing network for the selection of projects with the potential to receive investment, and it is responsible for submitting applications to the Call INNOV-ID initiative. It is noteworthy that some of the most active partners, together, represent 176 applications out of the total 398 received: Instituto Pedro Nunes, Startup Braga, PCI Aveiro, UPTEC, Startup Lisboa, and Lispolis.
