Position: Supply Chain Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

The SC Coordinator will lead the implementation and development of supply chain and purchasing operations in Portugal, working in close collaboration with local management and international teams.

 

Planning

  • Prepare and monitor production planning and material supply.
  • Ensure the availability of raw materials and components in accordance with the production plan.
  • Monitor stock levels, lead times, and procurement requirements.
  • Coordinate MRP (Material Requirements Planning) activities.
  • Analyze planning deviations and propose corrective actions.
  • Support the implementation of Supply Chain processes in a new industrial unit.
  • Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Logistics to ensure efficient material flow.

 

Purchasing

  • Operational management of national and international purchasing.
  • Issuance and tracking of purchase orders to suppliers.
  • Negotiation of prices, delivery deadlines, and commercial terms.
  • Development and qualification of suppliers.
  • Tracking deliveries and resolving supply issues.
  • Coordination of import/export processes and associated logistics.
  • Ensure compliance with quality and regulatory requirements applicable to the medical device sector.

 

Desired Profile

  • Higher education degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Supply Chain, Planning, or Purchasing roles in an industrial environment.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
  • Good knowledge of Excel and analytical tools.
  • Fluency in English (mandatory).
  • Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization skills.
  • Dynamic, hands-on, and problem-solving oriented.
  • Ability to work in a growing industrial environment and an international context.

 

Plus (Assets)

  • Experience in the medical or pharmaceutical industry, or regulated environments.
  • Knowledge of Lean processes / continuous improvement.
  • Experience in industrialization projects or factory start-ups.
  • Knowledge of import/export and international logistics.

Position: HR Coordinator

 

Key Responsibilities

The HR Coordinator will lead the implementation and development of Human Resources operations in Portugal, working in close collaboration with local management and international teams.

  • Responsible for the recruitment and onboarding process of new employees.
  • Coordinate recruitment processes with external agencies and candidates.
  • Prepare and manage employment contracts and HR documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with Portuguese labor law and internal company policies.
  • Coordinate attendance, vacations, absences, and employee records.
  • Support payroll preparation in conjunction with external payroll providers.
  • Support the definition and implementation of HR procedures and policies.
  • Support the coordination of training and employee development activities.
  • Coordinate occupational health, medical exams, and mandatory legal requirements.
  • Act as the local HR point of contact for employees and managers.
  • Support communication and alignment between TAG Portugal and TAG’s global HR teams.
  • Contribute to creating a positive organizational culture during the industrial unit’s start-up phase.

 

Profile

  • Degree in Human Resources, Management, Psychology, or a similar field.
  • Previous experience in Human Resources roles (preferably in industrial or multinational environments).
  • Good knowledge of Portuguese labor law.
  • Experience in recruitment processes and employee lifecycle management.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Hands-on, proactive, and autonomous profile.
  • Good interpersonal skills and team spirit.
  • Fluency in Portuguese and good knowledge of English (spoken and written).
  • Experience in the manufacturing or medical device industry.
  • Experience with HR software/tools will be valued.

  • Prior contact with international teams.
  • Knowledge of ISO environments or regulated industries.
