The 2025 edition of Innovate & Entrepreneur once again transformed the Azurém Campus into a space for sharing knowledge, technology, and talent, bringing together researchers, startups, companies, and students around innovation and entrepreneurship.
One of the highlights of the program was the presentation of the third edition of Set.Up IN(dustry), delivered on stage by Rui Pinheiro, representative of Set.Up Guimarães. This acceleration program, promoted by the Municipality of Guimarães, supports the development of innovative ideas and their connection to local industry, challenging entrepreneurs to transform creative, technological, or knowledge-intensive projects into successful businesses with direct impact on the region.
Throughout its various phases, Set.Up IN(dustry) offers selected startups capacity-building bootcamps, specialized mentoring, speed meetings with investors and industry representatives, as well as individualized coaching. Participants will also have the opportunity to pitch their projects at the Demo Day, before strategic partners, and benefit from industrial incubation within leading companies.
With already significant results — 54 supported startups, more than 300 hours of mentoring, 120 hours of training, and over 60 meetings between startups, industry, and R&D centers — the program has established itself as a driving force for innovation and entrepreneurship in Guimarães.
Applications for this new edition will be open from September 8 to 30, 2025, followed by bootcamps, mentoring sessions, and industry meetings running from October 2025 to January 2026. The program will close with the Final Day, scheduled for July 16, 2026.
