Rui Neves Ferreira

Father of 3 girls, Rui is an entrepreneur lawyer, strongly oriented towards companies and businesses. Co-Founder and current Managing Partner of NOVA Legal, he represents several clients, national and foreign, namely in the corporate, commercial areas and in their relationship with major management decisions, with a pragmatic approach, focused on the search for innovative solutions that project added value.

In 2022, representing NOVA Legal, he won an international competition – Portuguese edition – LegalTech Venture Days – having represented Portugal at the South Summit event in Madrid, with the MLT – My Legal Team® service and having been invited to represent it at the edition of Websummit in Portugal.

Rui maintains the role of advisor, with different levels of affiliation, to several companies and start-ups in different stages of growth and implementation in the market.

He graduated in Law from the Faculty of Law of the University of Porto and is registered with the Porto District Council of the Portuguese Bar Association.

He has a post-graduate degree from Universidade Portucalense in Law and Civil Procedure and also from Instituto Tecnológico de Monterrey, in the area of family businesses.

He also has a postgraduate degree in business management, through the xBA – Xponential Business Administration course, at NOVA School of Business and Economics.

Fluent in French and English, he was a guest speaker at various events and conferences on a wide range of topics, being the author of several articles and opinions, as well as the author of the book – Implementation of the Group Hours Bank in the Company – Practical Guide (2020).
