Ricardo Machado is currently Head of the Intelligent and Information Systems Division in the Municipality of Guimarães.
Degree in Electronics and Informatics from Universidade Lusíada and postgraduate degree in Computer Networks from the Polytechnic Institute of Management and Technology (ISLA). He completed his MBA, with a specialization in Innovation, Internationalization and Smart Growth and a postgraduate degree in Management from Universidade Lusíada.

 

Ricardo Machado has solid experience in associativism acting as President of Nuno Simões Nursery School and APEE EB1 Oliveira do Castelo, Vice President of the Art and Recreation Circle, secretary at the Guimarães Municipality and Lar de Santo António CCD and Co-founder of the Association of Young Entrepreneurs of Guimarães.

 

Driven by a great creative and innovative spirit, he was distinguished with GRUNDIG’s 1st Prize for the Best Final Course Project in 2008, the 1st prize in “SpinUM- Negócios Concurso de Ideias, 3rd Ed.” and semi-finalist of “ISCTE-IUL MIT-Portugal Venture Competition, 2nd Ed.”
