The Interministerial Commission of Portugal 2030 has recently approved an update to the Annual Call Plan, reinforcing predictability and planning capacity for companies, institutions, and investors across the country.

This update foresees the launch of 220 calls for proposals, including multi-regional ones, with a total funding allocation exceeding €3.1 billion (€3,159,690,532). The funding will be distributed across the country’s regions and aligned with the five main policy objectives of Portugal 2030, focusing on social, economic, environmental, maritime, and territorial development.

For the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem, as well as for the community of companies supported by Set.Up Guimarães, this plan represents a strategic opportunity to prepare applications and align investments with the upcoming calls. It is estimated that by December 31, 2025, calls will have been launched covering 74% of the funding allocated to the regional programmes on the mainland.

The strategy aims to drive innovation, enhance business competitiveness and internationalisation, support entrepreneurship, and promote social inclusion.

The updated Annual Call Plan is available on the IAPMEI website.
