Licensed in Biology from the University of Nottingham, David has over 15 years of international experience in the Healthcare sector (Pharma, Medical Devices, Biotech) in Marketing and Business Development roles, having worked for companies such as ITF-Farma, Genetrix, Carestream, and SonoSite FUJIFILM.
For the past 8 years, he has worked as a strategy consultant for various industries. Passionate about innovation, he launched LabToMarket in late 2017, a one-stop-shop for researchers and startups looking to launch their products and services in the market, bringing market know-how and bridging the gap between innovators and decision-makers, having helped over 200 startups globally. He also works with government entities, hospitals, and multinational corporations as a consultant in agile methodologies and open innovation. Between 2022 and 2023, he was also the Head of Growth & Acceleration at Startup Portugal, the entity responsible for the National Strategy for Entrepreneurship.
