From November 10 to 13, Lisbon hosted another edition of the Web Summit, Europe’s largest event dedicated to technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship, bringing together thousands of participants from around the world. Among the attendees, Guimarães stood out with a delegation of startups and projects that showcased the dynamism and potential of the municipality’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
The Guimarães delegation at the Web Summit 2025 brought together companies with a strong technological and innovative focus, reflecting the dynamism of the local entrepreneurial ecosystem. The group included startups incubated at Set.Up Guimarães, such as Organo Stem Tech, Bioceramed, Hydrumedical, FAMEL, Axios Care, Flinotech, and Planta, as well as Guimarães-based companies including WAY Ecommerce Digital Marketing, Vogal, Complear Digital Health, and Insight Digital, representing the diversity and vitality of Guimarães’ business landscape.
More than an international showcase of innovation, this joint presence at the Web Summit reinforced Guimarães’ position as a reference hub for the development of startups and technological projects, demonstrating the growing impact of collaboration between companies, universities, and local institutions.
Over the four days of the event, the companies had opportunities to establish new partnerships, attract investment, and exchange knowledge with entrepreneurs, investors, and decision-makers from around the world.
For Set.Up Guimarães, the municipal super-incubator currently supporting over one hundred startups, this participation represented another step in consolidating an innovative, collaborative, and forward-looking ecosystem. The initiative emphasized the municipality’s commitment to fostering entrepreneurship, attracting talent, and driving sustainable economic growth in the region.
Web Summit 2025 took place at FIL and MEO Arena, bringing together over 70,000 participants, including entrepreneurs, investors, tech companies, and representatives from public and private organizations.
