Set.Up Guimarães took part in the IET Bootcamp Challenge, organized by the Instituto Empresarial do Tâmega (IET), aimed at empowering small entrepreneurs and startups from the regions of Amarante, Lousada, Felgueiras, and Vila Real.
The program, held at the Escola Superior de Tecnologias e Gestão (ESTG) of the Polytechnic of Porto in Felgueiras, featured thematic workshops and experience-sharing sessions, encouraging participants to reflect on their projects and growth strategies.
During the session led by Set.Up Guimarães, focused on Scalability and Replicability, key concepts for sustainable startup growth were explored, from defining a scalable business model to leveraging technology as a driver of expansion and adapting to new markets. The session also included practical case studies, such as Uber and Airbnb, demonstrating how growth can be achieved while maintaining operational efficiency, as well as a discussion on the main challenges startups face when replicating their success in different cultural, linguistic, and regulatory contexts.
This participation highlights Set.Up Guimarães’ commitment to supporting the training and empowerment of entrepreneurs, fostering a more collaborative and competitive innovation ecosystem, and strengthening the region’s business landscape.
