Set.Up Guimarães supports TeamLoan platform (born from the Tech4Covid19 initiative)
In order to combat Covid-19, the technological community Tech4Covid19 announced the launch of yet another initiative, the TeamLoan platform. This Platform allows companies affected by covid-19 to meet with opportunities to share teams temporarily.
In the form of a Marketplace, TeamLoan intends to minimize the impact of the state of emergency in which the country finds itself, allowing any company, from small commercial establishments to large companies, to register for team sharing temporarily. The project is aimed at all sectors of activity affected by the covid-19, for example food and non-food retail, accommodation and catering, passenger and goods transport, entertainment, health and social services and the food industry, among many others.
Several professional entities and associations have already been contacted and have shown their interest in actively participating in the platform, namely the Tourism Innovation Center, the Lisbon City Council, the Portuguese Farmers’ Confederation, the Federation of Portuguese Agro-Food Industries, the Association National Public Goods Road Transport, the Commercial Association of Braga and now Set.Up Guimarães and the Guimarães Marca project.
Based on location and activity sector, companies will be able to “match” with others in the same region. At this stage it is already possible to make a pre-registration and soon the platform will be fully operational at www.teamloan.pt.
