The START POINT Summit 2025, the largest employability, entrepreneurship, and training event of the University of Minho, took place this Tuesday, November 4, at the Multiusos de Guimarães, gathering dozens of companies, institutions, and young talents in a space dedicated to innovation, networking, and career development.

Promoted by the Academic Association of the University of Minho (AAUMinho), the event brought together local companies and multinational brands, creating direct contact opportunities between students, alumni, and employers, along with a wide range of activities focused on employability, knowledge sharing, and the promotion of regional talent.

Set.Up Guimarães was present at the START POINT Summit 2025, promoting the Guimarães entrepreneurial ecosystem and showcasing the opportunities the municipality offers to those who want to turn ideas into successful businesses. More than just an incubator, Set.Up Guimarães stood out as an example of how local investment in innovation, technology, and creativity can generate a real impact in the region. With its three hubs — LabPac in the creative field, TecPark in the technological area, and Set.Up In(dustry) in the industrial sector — the municipal super-incubator demonstrated how Guimarães is building a fertile environment for startup growth and talent attraction. Currently supporting over 120 startups, Set.Up Guimarães continues to consolidate its role as a strategic pillar in the region’s economic and innovation-driven development.

The event reinforced Guimarães’ role as a territory of innovation and entrepreneurship, strengthening the link between academia and the business sector and fostering new synergies that promote qualification and regional economic growth. The participation of Set.Up Guimarães further highlighted the municipality’s commitment to consolidating a dynamic and collaborative innovation ecosystem, capable of transforming ideas into impactful projects and positioning Guimarães as a competitive, sustainable, and future-oriented territory.
